Bowling for Books is a fund raiser designed to allow members of any organization to assist in the Foundation's mission to eradicate illiteracy in inner city youth.

HOW THE FUND RAISER WORKS:

Organizations would form bowling teams and arrange bowling tournaments. The Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation would invite a member of the Miami Dolphins to participate on each team. Each team would pledge a donation for every strike made in a frame by the Dolphin player. The teams' goal would be to raise the largest amount of money to assist The Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation. At the end of the tournament, the winning team will be awarded The Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation's Bowling Trophy.

All participants will be given a t-shirt with the Foundation's motto "opening books to open doors" in recognition of their support for the Foundation's mission.

Companies wishing to participate should contact The Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation by e-mail at russlsarf@aol.com or by telephone at 954-625-6316.
